'CRIME 101'

Rated R for language throughout, some violence and sexual material/nudity.

The kid attractor factor: This is an adult drama, not much appeal for kids.

Good lessons/bad lessons: Hope for the best, prepare for the worst.

Violence: Some shooting, car chases, robbery, etc.

Language: Swearing throughout.

Sex: Sexual situations and some nudity.

Drugs: None

Parents’ advisory: Too violent and mature for kids. Fine for teens.

'WUTHERING HEIGHTS'

Rated R for sexual content, some violent content and language.

What it’s about: Emerald Fennell's adaptation of the Emily Brontë novel is a tempestuous, salacious love story set in the Yorkshire moors.

The kid attractor factor: This is aimed more at lusty adult audiences.

Good lessons/bad lessons: Don't get into a lifelong affair with your adopted brother and then marry someone else — communication is key.

Violence: Some bloody images, death, beatings, etc.

Language: Some strong language.

Sex: Sex scenes, sensuality, deviant sex, but no graphic nudity.

Drugs: None

Parents’ advisory: Too sexually mature for kids.
