Jutes has brought "so much peace and joy and serenity" into his wife Demi Lovato's life.

The couple recently celebrated their first wedding anniversary after they tied the knot in May 2025, and singer Demi, 34, feels happier than ever with the 35-year-old musician, whom she credits for helping her discover a sense of calm after years of mental health and addiction struggles.

On the latest episode of 49-year-old actress Kerry Washington's Street You Grew Up On podcast, the Sorry Not Sorry hitmaker said: "I've also found my partner. It's such a gift. He's brought so much joy into my life."

Demi felt putting herself through treatment, introspection, and "soul-searching" was essential in preparing herself for a healthy and loving relationship.

She added: "I wouldn't have gotten to this place had I not put in the work first. I wouldn't have been able to appreciate the gift of having the love of my life come into the picture had I still been wrapped up in some of the issues that I had had in the past.

"But I think he brought so much peace and joy and serenity into my life. I'm just so - I do feel like I've found my home in him."

The two-time Grammy nominee's loved ones are the priorities in her life, despite her successful music career.

Demi declared: "I value my relationships in my life more than anything."

Explaining how Jutes, her family, and close friends keep her grounded, the Heart Attack artist said her accolades cannot compare to the happiness she gets at home.

Demi added: "But at the end of the day, I don't come home to an award, you know what I mean? I come home to my dogs and my husband, and that's what brings me joy."

She and Jutes were first linked in 2022, and they made their red carpet debut at Clive Davis' Pre-Grammy Party in February the following year.

In December 2023, the Sleepyhead songster popped the question, and the pair got married at the Bellosguardo Estate in Santa Barbara, California, in May 2025.
