Travis Kelce feels emotional about the prospect of the Kansas City Chiefs moving from their current stadium.

The 36-year-old sports star has enjoyed huge success with the NFL franchise, winning multiple Super Bowl crowns, and Travis has admitted to having mixed emotions about the team leaving Arrowhead Stadium, their current home.

Speaking about the potential relocation of other NFL teams, Travis said on the New Heights podcast: "The owners get so much more opportunity [by] getting to the outskirts of the city, and it's hard to argue with those opportunities. We're dealing with it right now in Kansas City.

"We're going over to Kansas, but at the same time, if you look at that deal in terms of an owner? That's one of the greatest opportunities you could ever get as an owner. I think it's going to be unbelievable once it's finally set in stone."

Travis confessed to having bittersweet emotions about the idea.

He said: "It is going to be kind of heartbreaking knowing that the Chiefs are going to move away from Arrowhead and that Missouri side of Kansas City.

"It's part of the old professional sports. It is a business at the end of the day."

Meanwhile, Jason Kelce, Travis' brother, recently urged his sibling to "step away from the game for a little bit" before making a decision about his future.

The sports star is rumoured to be contemplating retirement from the NFL, but Jason encouraged his sibling to take his time before making a firm decision.

Jason - who also enjoyed a hugely successful career in the NFL, before announcing his retirement in 2024 - said on Monday Night Football: "I'm curious too.

"In my opinion, to nail that decision, you've got to step away from the game for a little bit."

Jason also encouraged his sibling to enjoy his last games of the season, before making a decision.

He said: "Play these last three games, enjoy them with your teammates, enjoy that with your coaches. The team's going to be different whether you come back or not next year. So, enjoy these last three games and then let it sink in. It'll come to you with time."
