A new sitcom starring country music legend Reba McEntire tops the DVD releases for the week of Nov. 4.

"Happy's Place: Season One": This odd couple comedy stars McEntire as Bobbie, running the bar her recently deceased father left her, only to discover she has a younger half sister, Isabella (Belissa Escobedo), who has been bequeathed half of the establishment as well.

"In terms of stagecraft, we're back in 'Cheers,' bar in the middle, entry at left, office at right — classic," writes Los Angeles Times TV critic Robert Lloyd in his review. "The staff includes bartender Gabby (Melissa Peterman), desperate to be Bobbie's best friend; Steve (Pablo Castelblanco), a germaphobe accountant; Takoda (Tokala Black Elk), a waiter cum handyman, the Woody of the group; and Emmett (Rex Linn, wonderfully modulated), a bearish cook and voice of truth, who plays opera to keep people out of his kitchen."

"A Remarkable Place to Die: Series 1": New Zealand-set crime drama centered on a detective investigating murders following a return to her hometown and its accompanying personal demons.

"Bleeding": Two teens getting mixed up in dealing a new drug — vampire blood — in this movie about the horrors of addiction.

"Cheech & Chong's Last Movie": The iconic stoner duo take a hazy road trip down memory lane for this documentary looking back at their long partnership.

OUT ON DIGITAL HD NOV. 4

"Folktales": Documentary following three teenagers who make the daring decision to leave the comforts of home to enroll in a traditional “folk high school” in northern Norway, leaving the comforts of modern life behind for a year.
