Professional wrestling icon Hulk Hogan was mourned from Hollywood to Washington, D.C. on Thursday following the 71-year-old superstar’s death from what’s believed to have been a cardiac arrest.

“Rest easy, Hulk. This moment and his entire guest episode on ‘Suddenly Susan’ was a true highlight,” model and actress Brooke Shields posted on Instagram alongside a screenshot of the 6-foot-7 grappler arm wrestling with her on a 1999 episode of the ABC sitcom.

Sylvester Stallone worked with Hogan in the 1982 movie “Rocky III” in which the pair filmed a scene that pitted boxer Rocky Balboa against a wrestler named Thunderlips in a charity event gone awry.

“I had the pleasure of meeting this brilliant personality and showman when he was 26 years old,” Stallone caption a photo of himself being dwarfed by Hogan in that film. “My heart breaks.”

President Donald Trump, Vice President Vance and House Speaker Mike Johnson also paid homage to “The Hulkster.”

“We lost a great friend today,” Trump posted on Truth Social. “Hulk Hogan was MAGA all the way — Strong, tough, smart, but with the biggest heart.”

The president praised Hogan for endorsing him during the 2024 Republican National Convention and celebrated his cultural influence.

“He entertained fans from all over the world, and the cultural impact he had was massive,” Trump added.

Vance called Hogan an “American icon” he admired as a child and said he and the wrestler agreed to have a beer together when they next met.

“The next time will have to be on the other side, my friend!” Vance said.

Speaker Johnson also celebrated Hogan as a part of his childhood and remembered the 300-lb. showman as “a giant in stature and in life.”

But nowhere was Hogan remembered as fondly as he was by the professional wrestling community.

“Saddened to hear about the passing of Hulk Hogan…I guess God needed an incredible angel,” Sgt. Slaughter posted on X.

Triple H credited Hogan for laying down the groundwork for wrestlers like himself to find fame and fortune.

“He was the archetype of what it meant to be a ‘Superstar’ — a global sensation that inspired millions to work hard at whatever it was they wanted to accomplish and a look that made him recognizable to fans around the world,” he posted.

The Undertaker also thanked Hogan for elevating professional wrestling to the top of the entertainment world.

“His contributions to our business are immeasurable and for that I am appreciative,” he wrote on X.
